Overview
Care by Jessie operates as an independent childcare provider. All services are provided on a private, independent basis, not through an agency. A written agreement is required before care begins.

Rates & Payment
Rates vary based on the type of care, schedule, and number of children. Payment is due at the end of each care day via Venmo or Zelle. Invoices for recurring arrangements are issued weekly. Rates are reviewed periodically and families will be given 30 days notice of any changes.

Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel a scheduled session. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice are charged at 50% of the scheduled session rate. Repeated late cancellations may affect scheduling availability.

Trial Period
New care arrangements begin with a 1–2 week trial period. This gives both the family and Jessica the opportunity to make sure it's a good fit before committing to an ongoing arrangement. The full written agreement takes effect after the trial is complete.

Ending a Care Arrangement
Either party may end the care arrangement with 30 days written notice. Jessica reserves the right to end an arrangement immediately if the working environment becomes unsafe, disrespectful, or otherwise untenable.

Sick Policy
If a child is ill — including fever, vomiting, or contagious symptoms — please keep them home. Jessica will provide as much notice as possible if she is unwell and unable to work. Sick days are not guaranteed to be made up but will be communicated as early as possible.

Communication
Clear, timely communication is expected on both sides. Jessica will provide end-of-day updates and will reach out during the day if anything requires attention. Families are expected to be reachable during care hours.

Privacy
Jessica respects the privacy of every family she works with. Information about your home, children, routines, and family life is kept strictly confidential.
